The word massage originates from the Arabic word "mass or mash" which means to press softly. We know that the Chinese, Japanese and Ancient Egyptians had a system of massage many centuries ago, it was used to refresh and revitalise men returning from the wars.

Waste products accumulate in the tissues which cause pain, massage will help to increase the circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system which in turn will help to abolish the pain.

The aim of Sports Massage on a regular basis is to help prevent injury and assit in the improvement of your performance.

At any time, at work or at play it is possible to over use the muscles and cause a problem, massage can help to identify the problem and assist in correcting it using Remedial Body Massage and NMT (Neuro Muscular Technique).
